The Shimano Grappler BB Type C is a performance-driven, long-range topwater casting rod series designed for offshore anglers targeting powerful species such as GT, tuna, amberjack, and other large saltwater predators. Built to handle heavy stickbaits and poppers, these rods feature Hi-Power X blank construction for explosive casting distance, precision accuracy, and superior control during intense fights.

Featuring a medium-fast action similar to Shimano’s premium Grappler Type C models, the BB version offers excellent performance at a more accessible level. With power ratings covering lures from 100g to 150g, it adapts to a wide range of offshore topwater techniques and conditions.

Constructed from full carbon blanks, the rods deliver a smooth, parabolic bend that absorbs powerful runs while maintaining lifting strength. Equipped with Fuji K-type stainless steel guides, a Fuji DPS reel seat, EVA straight grip, and a rubberized butt, the Grappler BB Type C provides both casting efficiency and comfort for long offshore sessions.
