A stand-up big-game rod for tuna, marlin and anything else that turns a fight into a session. The 80 lb class blank is full carbon with HPC and Biofibre, built to hold a deep bend under sustained drag without going soft.
AFTCO ball-bearing roller guides carry line under heavy load with minimal friction and heat — the difference between line that survives a long fight and line that does not. The ALPS metal reel seat is reinforced to keep a loaded reel from shifting.
It ships with dual detachable handles, straight and bent, so the same rod covers stand-up work and chair work and still breaks down for transport. A Winn grip holds when wet, and the metal gimbal seats into a fighting belt.
