The Blue Safari 35Hi/L is Studio Ocean Mark's lefthanded light jigging baitcaster, built around their Wing Drag system — a four-position drag wheel that gives the fine-tune feel of a lever drag with the simplicity of a star drag. It keeps the familiar thumb-bar clutch for instant free-spool engagement, and pairs it with a non-disengaging 2-speed level wind designed to stop braid dig-ins on the drop. A machined aluminum frame and gear box, waterproofed carbon-fiber drag washers, and a stainless steel clutch round out the build. The spool swaps out with a single screw, so anglers can switch between standard, deep-groove, and shallow-groove spools to match conditions on the water. Suited to light jigging, tai rubber, and inchiku techniques in the near sea.
